We have a lovely three story town house, Number 6 Braeside Mews, located in Goodrington, Paignton, with views over Young's Park and onto the bay. This quiet costal location is an ideal base for exploring South Devon's beautiful bay and Dartmoor National Park.

The lovely towns of Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Exmouth, Exeter, Dartmouth and Salcombe are all within a 30 minute drive. Plymouth is also easily accessible within 40 minutes, with good road and rail links.

This location is ideal for a week's holiday or a short break away on the picturesque Devon coast. Number 6 Braeside Mews can sleep up to 4 people; ideal for holidaying with family and, or, friends.

Our Base

Just a 2 minute walk to Goodrington Sands from our property, you can hire sunloungers, deck chairs and beach huts, along with a range of water activities including pedal boats, waterskiing and windsurfing for beginners. This sandy beach also has clean, calm waters to swim in. Splashdown at Quaywest Water Park is also located on Goodrington Sands, along with cafes, a pub, the park, boating lake and go-karts.

This enviable location is just a 10 minute stroll to Paignton harbour and town centre, with Torquay and Brixham being a 10 minute drive away. The costal path to Brixham and Torquay also runs along Goodrington Sands.

Paignton harbour, seafront and town centre is a ten minute walk away. Paignton Sands also has pedal boats for hire, along with the pier, children's geo-park, cinema and the green which hosts many festivals, fairs and exhibitions throughout the summer.

Boat and fishing trips to Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth can be booked in the harbour and along the seafront. Also located on the promenade is the best pirate themed crazy golf you've ever seen! The Dartmouth steam train leaves from Paignton station and Goodrington.

Paignton Zoo

Paignton Zoo is one of Britain's top zoos - a must visit!

Torquay and Babbacombe

Torquay is a 10 minute drive away and has a great marina, along with a good selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and the Princess theatre.

Babbacombe, a further five minute drive from Torquay, has a model village, theatre and Cliff Railway.

Brixham

Brixham is also a 10 minute drive away.

It has been the centre of the area's fishing industry for centuries. More recently, the fish market has been redeveloped and is home to David Walker and Son Fish Merchants who offer fantastic, local, fresh fish; why not call in and take some home!

Brixham also has a stunning marina, Breakwater Bistro located on the beach, and Berry Head.
